Airport, rail and matchday travel
GETTING THERE.
The National Football Stadium is in Nové Mesto, on the Vajnorská public-transport corridor north-east of the old town. Routes were checked on 27 July 2026; always confirm the live timetable before travel.
Bratislava Airport (BTS) → city centre
- Bus 61 connects the airport with Bratislava hlavná stanica, the main railway station; night bus N61 covers overnight periods.
- For the old town, connect from the station by tram or bus. Vienna Airport coaches are also a common international gateway to Bratislava.
Bratislava hlavná stanica → centre
- The main station is north of the old town and has tram and bus connections into the centre.
- Bratislava-Petržalka is used by some Vienna services; check which station is printed on the ticket before planning the stadium leg.
City centre → Národný futbalový štadión
- Trams on Vajnorská and buses around Trnavské mýto / Bajkalská serve the stadium district; Nová doba and Odbojárov are useful stop names to check.
