Abovyan is a separate city north-east of Yerevan. Most international visitors arrive through Yerevan and should allow time for the onward road transfer. Routes were checked on 27 July 2026; always confirm the live timetable before travel.

  • Airport bus 201 links the terminal with central Yerevan; an authorised airport taxi is the simpler choice with luggage or for a late arrival.
  • There is no direct airport rail service and no direct airport bus to Abovyan. Continue from Yerevan by regional bus or taxi.
02 · Rail & coach arrival

Yerevan railway and coach arrivals → Abovyan

  • Yerevan Central railway station is connected to the city by Sasuntsi David metro station; domestic and international train services are limited.
  • For Abovyan, use a regional bus or taxi from Yerevan and confirm the return before an evening match.
03 · Stadium journey

  • The stadium is within Abovyan. Walking can be practical from central accommodation; otherwise use a local taxi.
