Airport, rail and matchday travel
GETTING THERE
Skonto Stadium is north of Riga's old town, close to the central business district. Routes were checked on 27 July 2026; always confirm the live timetable before travel.
Riga Airport (RIX) → city centre
- City bus 22 links the airport with the central station / old-town edge.
- Airport taxis and app-based services are alternatives; use the official taxi queue and displayed fare information.
Riga Central station / coach station → centre
- The rail and international coach terminals are beside the old town and the main city-transport network.
- Skonto is a separate northbound trip or a walk of roughly the length of the central district.
Riga centre → Skonto Stadium
- Walk from the old town / centre or use Riga public transport toward the K. Valdemāra / Skanstes area.
- Use the live Rīgas satiksme planner for the closest stop because event restrictions may change the final approach.
