Airport, rail and matchday travel
GETTING THERE
Union SG's European home match is in Ostend. The stadium is inland from Ostend station and the seafront centre. Routes were checked on 29 July 2026; always confirm the live timetable before travel.
Brussels Airport (BRU) → Ostend
- Belgian rail connects Brussels Airport-Zaventem with Ostend, sometimes with a change in Brussels or Bruges.
- Ostend-Bruges Airport has limited scheduled service; De Lijn buses and taxis connect it with Ostend.
Oostende station → city / stadium
- Oostende station is beside the centre and coastal tram terminus. Continue to the stadium by De Lijn bus or taxi.
- Use the SNCB/NMBS planner for the last return toward Bruges, Ghent or Brussels.
Central Ostend → Batimont Solar Park
- Plan the final bus with De Lijn using the stadium address on Leopold Van Tyghemlaan.
- Walking is possible but substantially longer than the central seafront distances suggest.
